http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Apple+valley,+ca&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=39.099308,79.013672&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Apple+Valley,+San+Bernardino,+California&ll=34.538732,-117.273313&spn=0.002488,0.004823&t=h&z=18

Not sure if this ditch is named or not. I didn't get to skate it because I was dealing with my wife's family (yes, they put the "fun" is dysFUNctional) for a birthday event... That day, I thought maybe calling it the "stuck in hell ditch" or "shithole ditch" (since the high desert is such a shithole). Or hillbilly ditch (there are more hillbillies per capita in the high desert of southern California than in the south, I reckon).

Unfortunately it's got a fence around it and I didn't see any easy way to gain entry without drawing any unnecessary attention to myself. Also needs a ditch; the picture from Google maps is clean, but it's got piles of sand blown into it. I found this one driving to a store to get some supplies (and as an excuse to get out of my inlaws' house).

We'll be back in that side of the family's neck o' the woods later this week; I may try again to skate it.

Farkin' port-o-johns got it the way of one view. Other side of the bridge is just a little bit rough. hahahaha

The walls and angle of the ditch are about the same as Redtail up in Allen used to be.
