Cold Fusion Slalom Sizzler

Team Love Reunion/CFAN contest — Sept. 4-5

The Team Love 20th Reunion, Saturday September 4th. San Marcos, Rio Vista Park

The “Jonathan “the Child” Broderick Memorial” CFAN Contest, Sunday September 5th. San Marcos at the CFAN ditch.

Both events are going to be used to raise money for the San Marcos skatepark. Everyone is invited Jaks, sharks, jets, old friends, new friends, the uncontrollably curious, and even Texas’s lone Fair Boy. If you ever played with us back in the day you know both days are going to be fun, and Monday is a holiday.

A-2 and I talked to the owner and booker for the Triple Crown, the only cool music spot in SM. They want to help our skatepark fundraising by having some bands play w/ part of cover going to the skatepark fund. They have given us the nights of Sat. Sept 4 (day of reunion) and Sun Sept 5 (contest day) to have bands willing to participate play.

So far we have OK Rufus, Stonelar, Ugly Beats, Mala Vista, and ANS. I have some floor and yard space if you actually want a bed here is a link for hotels and such.

Texas Slalom Sizzler – 8/7/04

The Texas Outlaws are holding the 1st Texas Slalom Sizzler in the Rio
Grande Valley on August the 7th.

The event will be held on fast hill in a secluded subdivision in Sullivan City about one hour away from home in Harlingen. All racers will be required to wear safety gear and sign a waiver not holding the owner of the land responsible for any injuries acquired or being bitten by a Diamondback Rattlesnake.

At stake is the Texas Cup. The competition will be tough. The hill is fast with new pristine asphalt. The competition will be tough Ricky Byrd and his son
Josh Byrd the FCR Junior Downhill Slalom Champion and the rest of the
Mississippi Road Kill Crew will be coming down to race and they are
fast.
